  1. Nope, came close a few times. We were 19-18 up in 2019 before Higson got himself binned leading to a winning try for KR. 2017 I seem to remember Abdul absolutely kicking us to death to win 23-10 which was the widest result, the other 4 were no more than 6 points in it and 4 of them also involved drop goals.
  2. Death, taxes and Hull KR in the cup. I make that 2017(h), 19(a), 20(a), 22(a), 23(F), 24(a) now.
  3. Yes I would think so, certainly can't think of any bigger crowds in recent years at this stage. I find it very encouraging to see the numbers in the east stand steadily growing too, seems to be quite a few building habits and becoming regulars in a stand that has probably been used less than 10 times prior to last season for Leigh games. Makes the ground seem a lot fuller when we have all 4 sides populated.
  4. There were some very questionable decisions that prevented Fev being promoted in 2023 IMO. Choice of Long as head coach was a gamble, removing him right at the business end of the year and replacing him with a fairly average coach was an even bigger gamble, and then there was a scattergun approach to recruitment. Signing Aekins was a great move for instance, but signing Aekins whilst retaining MK and BP then playing him in the centres/halfback was mind boggling. Leigh's best signing going in to 2022 was Chris Chester, he has arguably one of the best records of anyone in the UK for identifying talent from Oz when you consider his Leigh and Wakey signings and he's absolutely nailed the recruitment side for us.
  5. It's fast becoming a sport between the more reputable journo's as to who can debunk Gledhill the quickest.
  6. You'll get it next week once they've managed to copy and paste all the relevant bits
  7. Yep, Salford, Toronto and now Fev. Not to mention the dodgy circumstances surrounding leaving Salford council in the first place.
  8. Unless you have an insolvency event there's very little chance of you becoming the next Bradford under the img era. I don't think your squad is that bad although there is definitely some inbalance, I just think Tony Smith is done as a top level coach when it comes to motivating a group. Big culture overhaul needed within the group.
  9. Was nice to see our attack finally starting to click over 80 minutes this week. Moylan is starting to look like the player I was hoping for and Hanley is doing a good job so far of making sure Briscoe doesn't get back in the team once fit, with 220 meters gained to go with his 164 against Leeds last week. edit. Also, nice to tick off a couple of records with our highest winning margin(beating 32-0 against Wakefield in 2023) and highest points for(beating 50-34 against Wigan in 2017).
  10. Craig Hall apparently still waiting on his testimonial money.
  11. I've enjoyed the freshening up of sky commentary, I've been very underwhelmed by superleague+ though. There have been miscommunication around what day games are coming on, and since round 1 they've added nothing to the archive sections despite there being an absolute mountain of classic games in the sky era you could add. Another really annoying feature of the sl+ is that when you select a club, only the highlights and player features appear, not any full matches making it frustrating to navigate. I bought it just before round 1when I already have sky as they had just dumped a bunch of archive GF/WCC/league games on there thinking it would be a regular thing but I've basically not touched the app since.
