Next Sunday would love to see you guys complete your target of reaching the Top4  AND do us a favour by keeping Swinton below us !!! (Rams)

Can't decide which game I fancy most -- Fev: Bradford will be a cracker but cheering the Dogs to a win for the above reasons also holds some appeal.

Absolutely best of luck for next Sunday -- You guys, your coach and your chairman deserve it !!!!

Shame its not at the mount. There was an increase in attendance v fev. Lots of old faces and those who surface for the big ones.

I still think well take 500 to swinton though. Or a noisy 400!

'Shaw cross juniors, Birkenshaw, Mirfield, Heckmondwike Panthers, Stainland Stags and then the Heavy woolen donkeys... WARDY, STOZZA, GT, KARL OR KEAR MUST OF DROPPED A DIGIT FROM MY MOBILE NUMBER! :clapping:

That would be quite something - what percentage of today's crowd would that be?

Sport, amongst other things, is a dream-world offering escape from harsh reality and the disturbing prospect of change.

  • 2 weeks later...

I did travel over to Swinton yesterday, and saw one of the most complete performances in a long time.

A well-coached, disciplined, focused and confident display to secure the Top4 spot (and the Batley club's foreseeable future) under pressure circumstances....... Well done to just about everyone connected with your club......... Though, the 'gobs*ite' behind me taunting Swinton fans was totally uncalled for............Remember where YOU were this time last year !!!

Top class recruitment, first grade coaching and adherence to the game plan, perfected set moves, supreme fitness and a quiet but very definite confidence and belief in each other have got you where you are now..........(The kick chase by Rettie in the first half was superb)

Go and enjoy the Qualifiers and if I can get to the home games you've got, I will be there -- I'll never be a Bulldog, but I do admire what you've done on, apparently, a lesser budget than the Rams. Congratulations.

Just to add, plenty of dogs fans clapped the Swinton players off at the end.
