Simply this season Fax have been poor with the odd exception. Defence at times has been awful and attack consistantly has struggled to get in to gear. Fev did not deserve to lose the last game and was by far the better side. Fax got lucky that Davies was a couple of strides offside and he made no attempt to get back. Lucky penalty right in front of goal. Play like they did against Swinton, Workington and Oldham and Fev will put a big score on. If Fax finally wake up and do an effort like Widnes game, they may stand a chance of a win. Realistically Fev by 12-16 points

  Good one.

Well, it's a must win game for Fev. We too have been rubbish all season and we must improve our attack and defence a lot. We've been lucky with all the matches we've won and if we play like we did against Bradford, Leigh, London away and Oldham away then Fax will stroll it by 'a country mile'. Realistically Fax by 24-28.

Realistically Fev v Fax is almost always closely contested and I can see this one being any different. Fev are the form team and probably favourites but that will mean nothing. No love lost between the clubs in the last few years and should be a good close game.

Both Swinton and Workington scored 30+ points against Fax at the Shay in the past month or so and Batley beat us last week by 16. I put Batley and Fev at about the same level. Thats why I doubt Fax will win and also why I feel Fev will put some points on Fax if Fax are not careful. Matt Sarsfield has scored 3 Tries in the past 2 games and Ryan Boyle is on loan. Maybe that will help, but Fax have largely disappointted this season for some reason.

Wish Fax would put in a performance like this each week. Very much Jekyll and Hyde team. Despite such a great first half, Fax have not won this game. Fev are still in this game as Fax can easily fall asleep as they have so often in games this season. Obviously Fev need to score next to give them that chance and belief. Fev have been very poor so far and cant play as bad in the second half.

While Fax have made a number of errors, they are outdoing Fev with pace and enthusiasm. I don't know if they will run out of energy, but they have blown the Rovers off the park so far.

What was Trojan saying about the Fev defence this time last week?

No point trolling him, he will be busy counting the Fax fans.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.
