The Art of Hand and Foot
Well that's supporting Oldham, i guess, last week I was skipping and on a high that I haven't experienced in years. Today we are next to the bottom and I'm feeling completely miserable.
Connor mcb
I can safely say we are the most inconsistent team in the league

diehard 1
HI all got to agree with tandle don't be to down hearted haven is always and always will be a tough place to go and by all accounts the lads are playing good rugby [ as I still keep following the yeds although I am not back yet] there is still a long way to go. onwards and upwards up the yeds
roughyed1064
its that your excuse? rather this team concentrate on the league position rather than the challenge cup.
tandle
it is essential that we stay in the championship to return to league one and whitebank I fear will be the demise of Oldham rugby.
TOSH1960
It's a mixed bag isn't it! The money is really useful for the club and hopefully could be used to strengthen the squad if that is CH wish and player availability. But it is also putting a huge strain on what is already a small squad with added injuries. I agree that it would be disastrous if we went straight back down to league 1 again. But can't see that happening with this squad of players and coaching staff. They'll pick up enough wins to keep us up.

TOSH1960
It's not a problem, I wish we did have 27 at the moment with the injuries we have. Hopefully we'll have a strong team out for Sunday.
The Phantom Horseman
It's not a problem, I wish we did have 27 at the moment with the injuries we have. Hopefully we'll have a strong team out for Sunday. Looks like a battle of the injury-hit squads on Sunday...Fev started the season with a 22-man first-team squad, and we currently have nine of those 22 out injured (Craven, Channing, Turner, Briggs, Wildie, Roche, Day, Snitch and Milner, with possibly only Craven of that list looking set to return on Sunday). We have Andy Ellis back replacing Wildie & with a bit of luck might have Baldwinson on DR again on Sunday and we have thrown a couple of young lads from our now-defunct reserves into the first team setup but sounds like you have been in the same boat as us ie struggling to turn out 17 fit players. Was very impressed by Oldham at our place and clearly by some of the subsequent results, should be a good game.

It's great to be playing old rivals like Fev again, hopefully it should be another great game. Our last couple of games at Bower Fold have been superb! Have a good journey over.
