  1. Watched The Marlow Murder Club ... available on Sky and terrestial channels. Lightweight but humorous and pretty good.
  2. Eurovision judges like humorous uplifting songs. As usual, the UK's picked a clunker. That video is like an advert for a private psychiatry practice.
  3. Northern then Bulls since 1975 Whoever's playing Leeds since 1975
  4. Howlin' Johnny & The Devil's Rejects - ace Keighley band
  5. Perhaps he only told people he worked for Tetley's. Understandable.
  6. I thought we'd kissed Kearball goodbye but it was back with a vengeance today. Two scores down with ten minutes to play and O'Carroll still had them barging up the middle. Two Widnes players sinbinned so we kept speading the ball to create a gap ... basic schoolboy rugby, right? No, O'Carroll still had them barging up the middle. Our halfbacks were completely out-thought and outplayed by the Widnes pair. Man-of-the-Match anounced. Yup, Jordan Lilley. Absolute bag of cack.
  7. His passing is way too floaty. Players taking the ball on the charge have to slow down to collect it.
  8. I think that should be 1797, or else my Mam would have phoned me.
  9. My main disappointment with sporting obituaries is that they rarely mention what players like Chris Davidson did for a living whilst they played and after they had retired from playing.
  10. Denis Law, 83. Julie Andrews, 88. I'd have expected Denis law to be older than Julie Andrews.
  11. Regan Grace has signed a short-term deal with Bath Rugby Union Club.
  12. The referee (Cameron Worsley, I think) for today's game between Keighley and the Bulls was given a game that had potential to boil over. Quietly confident, he was excellent and controlled it well. I don't think either team will have any complaints.
  13. Citrus Beer!!!! We managed perfectly well in this country. We brewed proper beer for a thousand years before the first citrus fruit turned up. I can't stand it. How can you have a sweet bitter?
