RidingPie
Hi Guys about a year ago I started a fitness course with a Canadian company called Precision Nutrition, and frankly I've lost quite a bit of weight and I'm feeling great! At the end of every course they have a final for the people who've lost most/ made the best improvements and I'm surprised and pleased to say I've made the final. Part of the weighting for who wins is internet votes, and while I don't think I'll win (especially when I look at some of the other people involved) I'd love not to finish last. If any of you would like to vote for me please follow the link... I'm number 16 http://www.precisionnutrition.com/finalists-men-july-2016 Thanks Mike

Saint Toppy
Vote made - good luck Having made my vote I am worried that No 13 looks uncannily like Charles Bronson (the killer not the actor) and may get in a strop if he doesn't win St.Helens - The Home of record breaking Rugby Champions
Tiny Tim
Voted, great effort hope you do win. Having also recently turned 41 I've decided that if I want to see retirement I need to lose some lard. Having really got into the whole kettlebell workout thing I'm 21 pounds lighter since January but still a long way to go. I've been to the gym on and off since my mini-rugby days and tried all sorts but kettlebells appeal to me; no idea why, but I enjoy swinging them around and even starting to see some decent muscle definition which is nice. The workouts have been great but the nutrition habits have been a real game changer for me. My dad generally refers to me as a salad dodger, but since a couple of months in I get way more than my 5 a day and barely notice! Thanks for all your votes! Bedford Roughyed
Voted, good luck! (some great breathing in going in a few pics) With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!

Yep, it was the food side I had to change too as working from home full time there was just too much temptation to snack during the day and evenings in front of the TV with something to nibble on and maybe a drink of something nice....amazing what a difference it makes and actually feeling hungry at meal times was a novelty. So obvious when you write it down, but not so easy to get out of bad habits.

tonyXIII
Voted for you. What a strange experience, looking at pictures of 29 blokes in their shorts! It's a good job Carol didn't come in and catch me at it. That would have taken a bit of explaining. Incidentally, what's the story behind no.22? He gained weight? They used to have different courses for weight loss and muscle gain but they're now just rolled in to the one course with different workouts and focuses, and a questionaire at the start. I believe the path he was on used to be called scrawny to brawny. :-) Thanks for voting. Glad your wife didn't catch you. :-)
