It would be a nightmare teaching NFL players about scrummaging and line outs but i reckon they'd get the hang of rugby league pretty quickly. Methven Hornet Posted October 8, 2013 Share Posted October 8, 2013 My brother pointed this out to me a few weeks ago, but it does seem bizarre. Surely the difference between union and NFL is too great for gridiron players to make the switch, no matter how athletic they are. I suspect this scheme will go the way of the various schemes to set up professional RL competitions over the years have gone, ie gradually fade from memory.
