Posted this on the main board league one forum. Did anyone else do this? I was there at BP for the game, and also had it on my phone on YouTube. Because the feed was about 30 seconds behind we were able to watch the tries, penalties etc as if in replay. Also when something happened that was hidden or too far away we were able to get see it close up. Best of both worlds.

Mo limped off after his full lengther. Hope it's not serious. Don't know what the weight differential was but we seemed huge in comparison to Rochdale. They just couldn't hold us. Thought the minutes silence for John Etty was impeccable. Apart from, what seemed like, a tannoy announcement from outside.

Shame about Emerson. He was a hundred percenter, no doubt. But, sometimes someone else's 80 % is better. Tbh it was almost definite he was going to the butterflies, I would've put a clause in his release that he couldn't play against us. As I've said previously, the ex players should've proved a point last year.

The thing is they should've proved a point last year!

We had to let him go to accommodate Bob Lindner on the overseas quota.

Oddly enough we, Oldham, did the same and it seemed to work a treat. Craven, standoff at full back and Astley, full back at stand off.

https://www.facebook.com/share/r/6irvGSKyAaAtbHag/ Hmmm. This reel came up on my fb page. I don't know whether there was a penalty awarded. Looks high to me. Nb: you may have copy link to see it. Hall/charnock high tackle on Elijah Taylor close to the line. Some comments reckon it was a penalty try.

Which club would you invest in?

Tbh, it's not just Oldham fans, it's fans of other teams and the bookies. We beat Halifax and Barrow in competitive matches. Drew with a full London team in a friendly. And beat Keighley, arguably our nearest rivals, again in a friendly. Lost to Swinton and York and suddenly we are deluded, not that good and unfit!!!? For the first time in a quarter of a century we have hope and we're not going to give that up.

Good luck with that. It was vodka!

When you think about it, we beat Halifax and barrow, then lost to Swinton and York. So in effect, yes we are mid table championship.
