He is indeed, not sure when he's due back but it was good to see him in the East Stand mingling with the young fans before the game on Saturday. Davy Litten played and scored a try for the Reserves on Friday who in some kind of irony put 50 points past Huddersfield Reserves the day before the first team conceded a half century. In the circumstances I expect we'll see him back in the first team before too long but one of the (many) problems we've got is that the young players are having their confidence knocked playing in a first team that gets hammered as a matter of routine. You're question highlights how poor the club's recruitment and retention has been. Before a ball was kicked it was obvious the balance of the squad was all wrong. We've got umpteen full backs and hookers but virtually no real half backs. We can only hope that releasing Hoy gives us the opportunity to redress that but I don't have much faith in us getting it right at the moment.

Thought Adam Pearson made a telling comment last season when he said Tony Smith would be his last coaching appointment. I have very little doubt that Pearson has had enough.

Looks like we've got a real gem on our hands there. Liked the look of Logan Moy too. Confident looking kid who was looking to get involved. We're consistently among the best teams in the game at scholarship, academy and reserves level so I'd love to know WTF goes on with the first team.
