Club Doncaster Sports College welcomed Dons CEO Carl Hall and new signing Corey Hanson to their Development squad training recently as the Academy continues to make great strides.

The Dons Academy runs alongside the three Football Academy teams and the newly formed Ladies Football Academy. These academies support the outstanding education provision supplied by the college

A range of vocational sports courses are offered at the college, all which are delivered in state of the art facilities – providing great opportunities to study and play here at the Keepmoat stadium.

Dons player and Academy coach Connor Scott has been delighted with the progress of the set up. He said: “We are getting record numbers down for training now and the hard work is turning into great performances.”

CEO Carl Hall added: “The future is bright having watched the young squad being put through their paces.”

Club Doncaster Sports College partners Selby College have recently been awarded the accolade of highest performing college in the region and joint second overall in the national college league tables.

The Sports College has contributed to this commendable achievement, which was measured in four key criteria: learner satisfaction, employer satisfaction, destination data into sustainable jobs and adult apprenticeship delivery.

Applications for study in the 2017/2018 academic year are now being processed via www.clubdoncastersportscollege.co.uk.  However to showcase their facilities and courses, the college are hosting an open evening on Monday December 19.

The open evening will run from 5-7pm at the Keepmoat Stadium, East Stand conference and hospitality entrance - which is free to drop in whenever convenient.
