Workington away

Following this last weekends great game, hoping the lads keep the intense pressure on , all aiming for the big one against our close neighbours Dewsbury at Blackpool.

No disrespect to Halifax but we need to keep them below us.

Cor my goose bumps are working overtime already. :alcoholic:

Cheers Roger.

Should be an easy one for you - they struggled to beat Sheffield away, so no problems.

Sport, amongst other things, is a dream-world offering escape from harsh reality and the disturbing prospect of change.

Dogs by 12

Our pack will turn them over before walker dom and cain control the ball

Mmmmm....seem to remember a few comments similar to this before the Swinton game.......

"you never win a game unless you beat the guy in front of you. The score on the board doesn’t mean a thing. That’s for the fans. You’ve got to win the war with the man in front of you. You’ve got to get your man." - Vince Lombardi.

Having gone down to Oldham and Swinton, no way will the coaches and players look at this as an easy turn up. They'll instill in each other the need to match the Halifax performance. There'll be a lot of tackling to be done up there, and the weather forecast isn't spot on for the weekend so it could get dirty going. If the latest signing news can't get the lads up for this then I don't know!!

I shall be cautiously optimistic on this one until the final whistle, as it's been said just look at what happened against Oldham and Swinton.

just don't let them(Workington) get a head of steam up.

I really fancy the two points.

Cheers Roger.

Sorry Roger Town by 8, we are really battling for every point marra and are starting to hit a little bit of form, you are always a tough team to beat but I think home advantage should just about see us through, have a safe journey if you are coming up marra.

Hi there Hate the Rec, sorry I won't be there, the sunday train service up to you is terrible on a sunday, I won't drive as saturday is the only day I go out for a drink.

You might be battling for every point and hitting a bit of form but we have nicely just got over our rough patch and with the lads signing on again for us and the future should see us take the points, but like I said I will remain optimistic until the final whistle.

In the mean time apart from us I wish your team well.

Cheers Roger.

I arrived just before kick off for Halifax match and Shaun was leaving the ground. Did not look particularly happy.

I must've been 30 seconds behind you as he was retrieving something from his car and seemed to be in a happy mood!

Roger, I think you will find that any Town fans predicting a win for us do it out of hope rather than expectation, I just hope we can give you a run for you money.
