  1. So what are we doing differently to the previous 100+ times this fixture was played?
  2. If they have to register with a club or just fill in something to say they are running? It doesn't seem particularly challenging to get to 1 in 6 of a population doing some kind of sport. The bigger deal, for us, within that, is how tiny rugby league is.
  3. If they include running and jogging then you'll easily get to that. In England, that comes in at 16% of the population (Active Lives Survey) so close to 1 in 6.
  4. Literally why the work with IMG's main purpose is getting more money into the game. That's the reality of the IMG grading.
  5. The Cubs are in the National, not the American League. Honestly, some people ...
  6. Even then, retiring a number is incredibly rare. My boys - the Chicago Cubs - have been going since 1876 and have retired six numbers, one of which is the number 42 which has been retired for all baseball clubs. That's basically one number for every thirty years of franchise history.
  7. Wigan seem to think that's where they're playing.
  8. If you're going to lean in then really lean in
  9. Oh, and Maulden Rushett isn't a village in a city. It's a village in a borough (the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames) in a county (Greater London).# The city in the City of London is the square mile overseen by what was once known as the Corporation of the City of London. It is not itself a London borough. The only other city in the county of Greater London is Westminster. Southwark has a cathedral but not city status.
  10. So, what they really need to do, is get it down to 2 registered players, 1 of whom is decent.
  11. A little non-leading test for you and anyone else. You're an RL fan. Will you be telling any non-RL friends about these international games whether that's encouraging them to attend/try to watch/follow the games?
  12. Website says Craven Park https://hullkr.co.uk/team/womens-team/fixtures
  13. I had thought that the Great Britain scraping past Burleigh Bears before going on to be utterly embarrassed in the 1999 Tri Nations was the lowest ebb. Turns out, I just didn't have the imagination.
