  1. Hall is a good young centre, shame Trinity lost him (again).
  2. Yes, he was looking at a roof top terrace sort of stand similar to the above, perhaps that's not the case anymore with these grill plans. Hopefully we'll see some plans soon.
  3. Problem with bolting seats to a shallow terrace, but fundamentally q decent view isn't a criteria to score points in. The seats are all that matters here so it's a short term points grab and understandably so, especially with the actual improvements in the pipe line. Cas are playing the game that's all. What I challenge is the theory that money is being spent on the ground to the detriment of the team, which I feel is a line their board are feeding the supporters to keep them sweet. As far as I have read, the ground improvements are coming from the council £2m grant, and the playing budget is a conscious decision to save some cash, safe in the knowledge that London will finish bottom and the seats will score them enough points to retain the SL place.
  4. The seats will be transferred to the main stand once the funding become available. The £2m community funding is being used to enable Cas to get the necessary points while they wait until such time. Sretching the term community use somewhat but WMDC have signed it off apparently.
  5. Beggers belief Bradford would want the lease back. The RFL make an annual loss of £100k with a rent paying tenant, so in reality that would be a £200k drain on Bradford. Odsal is a money pit and nobody in their right mind would take the lease on for sporting purposes.
  6. For interdivisional ties, I've no issue with the cup been expanded into groups stages early on. For deciding a league structure, it was a terrible concept. Short term thinking and all.
  7. Trinity were in the middle 8's only once when they stayed up after stinking the place out in 2015. Leigh walked the championship but chocked when it mattered meaning a terrible Wakefield side prevailed. The following three season were, ironically, the best we've had recently (2016, 17 and 18).
  8. The 8's were an awful idea, the super 8's were dull, the bottom 8's were irrelevant and the middle 8's were just a car crash. It had the opposite effect on the top championship clubs and bottom SL clubs in looking to build for long term prosperity, instead they loaded up on panic buys.
  9. Wonder why Harry Smith is the first choice kicker, he seems very inconsistent which in a closer game would be an issue. Adam Keighran would be a better option.
