Their chairman as been at loggerheads with the council/club etc for a while now and wanted this to happen allegedly, it's their loyal band of supporters who've followed them around who I fell heartedly sorry for

i used to go watch York when my grandson Ben was there on d/r, and they were a smashing bunch, good supporters and i know Ben really enjoyed his time there. i hope they're not lost to the game for good. crying shame

Good job it wasn't one of the "expansion" clubs. Another nail in the coffin for

grass roots rugby.

Grandson been on loan there for several weeks. Says it is a marvellous little

club, great supporters, players and coaching staff.

A new ownership has been agreed allegedly.

 

All good once more.

Sport, amongst other things, is a dream-world offering escape from harsh reality and the disturbing prospect of change.
