Robin Evans
Lots of people rate radiohead. ..... I'm not one of them like...... "I love our club, absolutely love it". (Overton, M 2007)
Derwent
The most over-hyped over-rated band ever. I’m not prejudiced, I hate everybody equally
Bedford Roughyed
With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!

chuffer
Phil, I thought you were in a band? As someone who plays guitar and has in the past tried my hand at playing the songs off the bends and ok computer, then I cant quite dismiss it as children's music. There's alot more "basic" music out there and has been for decades

"Progressive" nonsense about angst and wizards and hobbits is children's music. chuffer
try having a bash at Paranoid Android for one of your sets....it's a great piece of composition, some great guitar work. Nothing childlike about it really......but I'd be interested to see what you guys cover as a comparison

Maximus Decimus
I'm a big radiohead fan but I can understand those that aren't and those that have not followed them since OK Computer. A lot is down to Thom Yorke I think. They peaked with OK Computer and were pretty mainstream at that time. I don't think Yorke wanted to be a conventional band and took them in a less mainstream direction. Since then they've swayed from very experimental to a bit experimental and back again. There's always been snippets of brilliance in everything they've done even if there's also been tracks of pointless noise. This album is on the more experimental side. It takes a few listens to warm fully to but it is worth it if you do. That said for me it makes good background music rather than something I could just sit and listen to.
