moorside roughyed Posted July 31, 2016 Share Posted July 31, 2016 I'm appealing to all Knights fans,both pro and anti Guildford to get behind the team.Any individual surely is not bigger than the club.We have similar problems at Oldham with the pro and anti Hamilton sides.But there again, none of this should matter,it's the club that's important. Not many people like the Glazers at Man Utd but it doesn't stop 70 odd thousand going to each home match.Get behind YOUR team and coaches,sod the hierarchy, they're not on the pitch.I just want the Knights to prosper for the future generations of York fans. Paul Crarey was interviewed on Radio Cumbria after the Doncaster game and said if the game moves to Saturday he will have trouble in raising a competitive team. I know York were unlucky in taking only 15 players to France but the situation is rather different. To play a fair match against York we need our best players playing. He was the chairman who was removed as the whole Board changed. It was several years ago and was hardly the same type of case. This time my own view is that is that the fixture should stand but I'm only a mere supporter. Anyway we could continue debating this but I think the rules are hat the game can be changed if the RFL and opposing Club agree. Whatever happens good luck to York city Knights.
