Cas are getting huge fines slapped on them cos of some silly adolescent #### calling 'naughty names' at a player due to bringing the game into disrepute but certain teams can get away with swearing at the ref straight to his face and this isnt a problem? Ive played Rugby for years at Junior and Amateur, the one thing you learn is the Ref is in charge and you address him as Sir or you start walking. If the Players are in charge of the game then whats the point in even having a ref?

Well if you want dodgy video ref decisions go find the posts about the Cas/Warrington game earlier in the season. No need to go digging up the 80's.

Hope he gets well quickly. A young player getting something like that can be a confidence nocker but he should be back stronger for it. As to all this 'Walker is an idiot' ######, grow up. Noones complaining about Leeds bouncing up and down slapping each others backs about try saving tackles or putting someone in touch or whatever. Its a prop doing his job if just a little sloppy. How many times has Morley or Crabtree or another big Prop dropped someone and postured after it. At least he had the class to behave himself after it turned out the Injury was a bad one. The number of Leeds fans ive had to talk to today calling for the kids head after his dirty 'high shoulder shot' is rediculous. They cant even accept it was an accident nevermind the posing afterwards.

Its not about anyone owing anything. Shenton is a Cas lad born and bred. Hes one of those that wanted to play for the club as a kid, the type that would say 'the money doesnt matter, i just wanna play for Cas'. Now hes an adult he has to consider his future so he's had to make a big decision. The 'wrench' he mentions is that heart vs head choice. Not that he feels obliged to Cas. I agree though that hes done well but you gotta understand the desire to better himself. There are some players that get international call up just cos they play for a big club and its easier to get noticed. Shenny is one of those few players that Cas have brought up that stand out for their talent not their club. The only downside is Cas dont get anything for losing one of the talents they have developed. He's out of contract at the end of the year so just moving on for free.
