  1. If I can’t invest in my club, North Wales, then it would have to be South Wales. I firmly believe that there’s a lot of untapped talent down there and proper investment would produce a very good team with mainly local players.
  2. North wales crusaders season ticket holder since 2011
  3. He’ll do well for you. I was gutted that he’s left us but good luck to him and thanks for your efforts big fella
  4. League needs a team in South Wales as that’s where the population and the players are. Young players are taken on board by super league clubs on a regular basis. If there was a dedicated pathway to play league professionally in the area more lads would switch from union and the game of league overall would benefit.
  5. I’ve been following this thread and you’ve actually made some good points at times and other times total rubbish. This is one of the latter. Are you seriously saying that Keighley, Rochdale, Donny and the rest are just above amateur. I doubt you’ve seen much of league 1 and you’ve just jumped in without thought and now you’ll waffle about to save face.
  6. The majority of league one clubs are just above amateur? How many league one games have you seen?
  7. Valiant effort from Crusaders but out muscled in the middle unfortunately. Congratulations to Donny and we’ll be back again next year.
  8. With all the problems we’ve had this year to get this far is a miracle. Winning the last three away and being underdogs each time. Can we do it again? Yes.
  9. I was born in the west riding so watched Feath, Wakey, Cas on a regular basis as a young lad. When I started work as a civil engineer it meant working away from home all the time and met the wife and when working near Wrexham. Celtic Crusaders came to the Racecourse and I watched a few games but for some reason couldn’t connect with them. After their demise North Wales Crusaders formed and I was watching a bunch of lads who were playing the game for the pleasure of it, I was immediately hooked. Since then Andy Moulsdale and the rest of the team have worked miracles to keep us going and no matter what the result this weekend I’ll have a season ticket for next season.
  10. Workington 10, Crusaders 26. A great result and only the second time this year we’ve had a full squad to pick from.
  11. Crusaders finally back at Colwyn Bay after months of playing anywhere we could. A routine win over Skolars who, I think, are better than their results have shown this year. With a couple of big lads in the pack they’ll be a different team.
  12. We’ll be back at Eirias Park next season. Due to all the grief we’ve had this season our landlords have offered us a real cheap deal for next year. Hope you can join us for a few games mate. The railway station is within spitting g distance of the ground and you’ll be made very welcome.
