The consensus from a lot of fans of other clubs seems to be that we're all in on it, condone it and think that because we didn't get promoted, the players don't deserve to be paid what they're owed. I'm pretty sure this is far from the case. (Although don't check our Facebook fans' page...) -

He's up there with the best props in the league. Missed him enormously against London in the playoffs. -
MOM CUP TIE 6th round. Leigh v Featherstone Rovers.

Wacokecoke Springer Turner -
Pleased with the end result. Thought we scored three great tries. Two brilliant ones from Wacokecoke and some excellent footwork from Turner who looked impressive. I thought we defended very well, just struggling a little when Leigh shifted it to the edges quickly. We did look a bit clueless when we got inside their 20, I think we caughed up possession every time we got there. Jack Smith is a terrible referee. The decision on the forward pass in the set before Yei was sinbinned was incredibly poor and probably put the game to bed as a contest. I think Yei will get banned for his tackle that saw him get a yellow, I also think Brad Day will get a ban for his tackle that ended in a head clash. I think if there was a video ref, he'd have been sent off for that. I hope Lacans' injury isn't too bad and he's back on the field as soon as possible partnering with Turner.

Are our shares worth that much? -
Just on a nerdy geography note, it's French Guiana, which is just part of France, although it's in South America, not French Guinea, which was in Africa, but no longer exists. Although they have an international football team, they can't play in FIFA competitions, i.e. the world cup. I wonder how they'd be treated in international rugby league!

You can't argue with the amount of money he's put in, although there will always be some debate about how the club has been run. Regardless, I think it gives the club an opportunity to look at becoming truly self-sustainable. Field a squad that can be covered by the income the club gets and use any excess money to improve the facilities. Will we ever make Super League under IMG's criteria? Probably not. But we've not managed it on the field either, so we might as well try doing it this way. -
