  1. Generally among the better players. Big engine, good worker. York lack grunt. He is one of the few who can provide some. Good signing for us.
  2. OK but 3 of the players you mention weren't playing, so it doesn't really matter what they are being paid. I either case I wouldn't have thought they cost much. Lineham and Myler are probably in their last season and won't be getting much, I would have thought, but I am speculating. As for the size of the squad, many are simply squad players and aren't really Championship standard but would be classed as "in development". I thought York were very poor today. Without Thompson and Jubb an already light pack left the middle wide open. Hingano looked a threat but played behind a dominated pack. Without Myler and Nikau Williams York had very little creativity. Still, even without these they were poor. Never looked like competing, even against 12..
  3. What money have York spent? Genuine question. If you have any info on this I would much appreciate it.
  4. It is difficult to see for certain as it happened so fast but to me it looked like Westerman's initial contact was with Dupree's shoulder, which caused his head to bounce into Watts, who then barges into Dupree's head.
  5. Looking down the barrel of relegation/going out of the cup etc. Just what is the "barrel of relegation"?
  6. It's a 2/3/4 point ball game etc. In fact, any reference to it as a "ball game"
  7. It's a daft comment. Sport doesn't work like that. One could easily say that Fev beat Widnes by 70 but only beat York by 10.
  8. Possibly. Ellis wouldn't be far off either. He has done some very valuable things for us this season.
  9. And then the champions would have to build a fu time team during the off season, would not compete in Super League tye following year and everyone would complain about promotion and relegation. Leigh have a frightening team and deserve their success
  10. Hingano, Ellis, Will Oakes, Levi Edwards. Some others are out but I doubt would have figured today (Ollie Butterworth, Brad Ward). Kris Brining also retired during the season. He was a big loss. I might have missed someone.
