'Try Reading' event at Barrow Library on Thursday 25th July at 3pm.  Writer, Tom Palmer, will be bringing his Rugby League World Cup Reading Game to the library.

The Rugby League World Cup Reading Game is part quiz about great rugby reading (in newspapers, online, magazines and books) and part goal-kicking competition.

Families are challenged to answer easy questions about sport, then to take kicks at Tom’s portable goal posts, and the winning family gets a trophy.

The event is best suited to 8-12 year olds, plus an adult. The event is free but places are limited so please book by contacting Barrow Library on 407373 or 407375
