Just watching the Wakefield/Widnes match and Stuart Cummings stated that the new free play rule applies to forward passes as well as knock on's, can anyone explain how this can be???
How can the opposing team get a free play from their opponents making a forward pass because the ball is not in their hands, and if their opponents drop the ball from the forward pass this surely then becomes a knock on??
It just shows the state of our game when even the top official does not even understand the rule.
Got to agree with Stevo on this one this rule has to go.
