Hearing Ron Earnshaw passed away tonight.

He was a lovely bloke and he was Mr Batley.

RIP Ronnie and god bless.
What we're dealing with here is a complete lack of respect for the law

RIP RON.. a true Batley RL legend who certainly kept this club going through his work starting in the supporters club through to been on the board and at one time remorgaging his house to keep the club afloat... A true legend who will be sorely missed by all the Batley RL family... glad i had the pleasure of knowing this great man, someone who wasn't just well respected by batley RL but all the RL community.

Very sad news. Truly Mr Batley.

Condolences to the family.

Never knew him, but I know he was an iconic figure for the Batley faithful. Condolences to the family and friends and to the fans who loved him.

Very nice chap and very sad news. I cannot imagine not seeing him around at the Mount. If there had been no Ronnie would there be a Batley RLFC for us to enjoy? My condolences to his family.
