  1. I don’t have the slightest interest in becoming a referee. Basic competence and ability to execute your required tasks is a pre-requisite for any vocation.
  2. He is responsible for his own basic errors as listed by @Dave T
  3. What has the ex-Eastenders actor got to do with it?
  4. Let’s cut to the chase. SL doesn’t need the NRL with their money swollen by TV and commercial agreements based on successful business model underpinned by a subscription TV basis that has a significant amount of subscribers. No, thank you.
  5. It’s difficult to make an objective assessment on Lam based on the current playing situation
  6. It was the same kind of thing when Saints voted Kieron Cunningham as their best ever player!
  7. So where are the Bradford players, Peacock, arguably, aside?
  8. This implies the referee favoured Warrington. Yet Salford scored the majority of their points from penalties awarded by the referee which rather contradicts your statement.
  9. This was referenced as an upset win. I really don’t see how, two teams close together with Leigh having home advantage.
  10. A general premise that games are won based on tries scored. Not definitive by any means but generally an expected outcome.
  11. Dealing with the points in isolation. The King penalty was given based on the player holding onto his shirt as he is trying to play the ball. Sometimes given, sometimes not, but a penalty all the same. Ethan Ryan was behind Dufty when he kicked the ball. He came from an offside position to take possession of the ball. I’m struggling to understand how you don’t think this wasn’t a penalty.
  12. Your assertion that the referee was required for Warrington to win is somewhat bemusing, as Salford scored two-thirds of their points from penalties. Can you cite specifics as to how the referee influenced proceedings?
