Ambitious Salford Red Devils owner Marwan Koukash has once again failed in his bid to bring in a marquee player ruling in Super League, after taking to social media to once again vent his frustration over the decision.
Koukash tried in February to push through a move for clubs to have a player that is exempt from the salary cap, but that was rejected by Super League clubs. And he has once again failed with the move this week, as we talked about in this week’s issue of League Express.
“Once again my plan for a marquee player has been blocked by the RFL friendly clubs,” Koukash wrote on Twitter. “So frustrating.”
