Chairman Des Johnston said, " I am sure all the supporters will be as pleased as I am that Andy Ellis has agreed to remain with Barrow. He is not only an asset on the field but a great representative for the club in the community."
On the new signings, Des said," These three young but experienced players will beef up our pack. It shows that we mean business and are in National League 1 to compete with the best, not just make up the numbers. I have had to put in an immense number of hours in negotiations with players and agents. At times it has been exhausting and frustrating but my labours are now beginning to bear fruit. There are other players being spoken to and I expect to be in a position to make further announcements after the week-end fixtures. As some potential signings will be in action at the week-end I must delay any announcement in fairness to their present clubs.
some Good quality signings, think barrow are going to take the lead in cumbria especially with more signings to come.
