Match report: Hull FC 16-44 Wigan Warriors

In a nutshell
Wigan inflicted yet another home defeat on Hull FC with a heavy win.

How it unfolded
First half: Wigan raced into a 20-6 lead at HT courtesy of scores from Dan Sarginson, Anthony Gelling and Jack Hughes, with Hull’s score coming from Gareth Ellis.

Second half: Joe Burgess extended Wigan’s lead before Jamie Shaul pulled one back. However, a second from Sarginson made it 30-6 before Gelling grabbed his second and Manfredi scored. Sarginson was not to be denied his third though, as he got his hat trick towards the end. Talanoa grabbed a late score for Hull, but their home word continue.
