Match report: Widnes 18-24 Wakefield

In a nutshell
Wakefield opened up an eight-point gap on the relegation zone with a late, late try to beat Widnes.

How it unfolded
First half: The game was locked up at 12-12 at the break as both sides cancelled each other out in some style.

Second half: Declan Hulme put Widnes in front before Harry Siejka levelled things up at 18-18. Both sides attempted drop goals before Paul Sykes sealed it right on the hooter.
