Salford Red Devils coach Iestyn Harris has revealed that there hasn’t yet been a call over whether veteran forward Adrian Morley will carry on playing into 2016.
Morley is 38 on Sunday, and is by far the oldest player currently playing in Super League in 2015.
But Harris says that regardless of a call about Morley’s future, he will be at Salford in 2016 – whether it’s as a player or as a member of the off-field staff at the Red Devils.
“We have a lot of respect for each other,” Harris said. “We’ve said we won’t make any call until the end of the year.
“He will be here either as a player or in another role with the club so it’s not a decision he has to rush.”
