The RFL have launched an investigation into claims that three Championship clubs fielded ineligible players regarding the dual-registration system last weekend. Halifax player suspended over gambling breaches


Halifax player Rob Worrincy has been suspended for six months after being found guilty of breaching the sport’s rules relating to betting. An RFL Operational Rules Tribunal handed down the suspension after Worrincy admitted placing a series of bets, including bets on matches in which he played, between May 2012 and September 2013.
