Three Super League players have been charged by the RFL Match Review Panel following incidents in the fourth round of the Tetley’s Challenge Cup.

Brett Ferres of Huddersfield Giants has been charged with making a Grade E dangerous throw on St Helens player Jonny Lomax in the 65th minute on Sunday April 6. If found guilty, he could get between a four and eight game ban.

London Broncos player Nick Slyney has been charged with a Grade B dangerous throw on Catalan Dragons player Jason Baitieri in the second minute of the tie on Friday April 4.

Scott Wheeldon of Castleford Tigers has been charged with a Grade A striking with the head on Batley Bulldogs player Adam Gledhill in the 12th minute of the tie on Sunday April 6.

Slyney and Wheeldon have until 11.00am on Tuesday to submit Early Guilty Pleas. Ferres does not have the option of submitting an Early Guilty Plea and will appear before an RFL Disciplinary Tribunal on Tuesday evening.
