Tigers thank Sneyd, reveal replacement plans

Castleford Tigers have released a statement in which they thank outgoing half-back Marc Sneyd for his efforts this season and hint that a replacement could be announced very shortly.

“Castleford Tigers would like to wish half back Marc Sneyd the best of luck ahead of his move to Hull FC from Salford for the 2015 campaign,” the club wrote.

“Sneyd has played an important role in Castleford’s success this season after joining on loan from the Red Devils, and we hope this continues until the end of the season.

“The club will be announcing its half back signings for the 2015 season in conjunction with the clubs they are leaving soon.

“We would like to thank Marc for the commitment he has shown this year. He and his family will always be welcomed back at The Mend-A-Hose Jungle in the future.”
