I wonder if Sutton is in with a shout for the final. I wasn't convinced by Lui and Guler off the bench for the Raiders to be honest. Although it would be a brave call for Stuart to change the team. I just hope for both his own and the Raiders sake that Papalii escapes punishment for the tackle he was placed on report for.

If papali gets banned for that I’ll give up this game , seriously . That was a fantastic textbook crunching shot and has been for a 100 years . It does my head in that we scrutinise tackles in minute slow motion frame by frame . The game isn’t played like that , you could do that with dozens of tackles a game . It’s a fast moving sport and examining things the exact opposite way is totally distorting and misleading .Players are moving at pace , changing direction , changing height etc . And it’s accentuated if a guy stays down - then we work back to find something . Look at Union is becoming with tackle strictures going off the scale , we don’t want that or you’ll suck the life out the game we knew

If Billy Slater can knee someone in the head Im sure Papalii can ride a textbook tackle. Absolutely nothing wrong with that. It looked worse because he was was slipping but even then it wasn't dangerous. If he gets banned for that I'd be disgusted.

Strange one why he got left out over Guler anyway - he did have an injury about 3 weeks back which never really got mentioned by Canberra but I saw on Instagram his leg in a temporary splint. So not sure if that what's kept him out and they just keep naming him in reserves to give every opportunity if he is fit?
