  1. Used to watch these with my mum who never watched rugby league in her life until Trafford Borough rocked up. I don't think she's seen a game since they shipped out either, This shirt no longer fits me very well. It must have shrunk in the wash. Still, it's my favourite shirt ever. It's hard to believe it must be 30 years old....

  2. This is the BEST GB shirt for me. Simple V, prominant. No silly psychodelic shapes and triangles veering off everywhere. Background white, no coloured sleeves. Lions badge, iconic to RL.

  3. Baby Miller was expected to be 22 stone, that's one of the reasons I thought AJ was so heavy in the last fight. You'd have to think that Ruiz has done this on purpose and he's shocked everyone in the process. I hope it doesn't throw AJ off.

  7. Two classic proper shirts there, both identify with only one club from any sport, how many of today's shirts can you say that about?

  8. A good haul at the butcher round the corner from work; a couple of pigeons, some wild boar & apple sausages and a compango pack.

  10. Having avoided it for the simple reason that anything the Guardian promotes usually turns out to be terrible, I finally gave Derry Girls a go. I watched the first episode on Monday and polished off the last one yesterday. So I think that covers the fact that I enjoyed it immensely.

  11. I'm watching The Apprentice, but it's really starting to grate on me. I think I've just had enough of cliché spouting, incompetent idiots making a mess of everything. It's not amusing anymore, it's too much like real life.

  14. Stood in a pool of ###### next to Malcolm Reilly in the old bogs at Thrum Hall "######ing disgusting this in't it?" I said "I'll say" says Reilly "how that winger didn't score I'll never know" :D

  15. I was once told by a retired Aussie RL star that the difference between pace and lack of it is the look on your face

  16. I saw Jamie peacock at "the Killers" concert at the MEN about 3 years ago. He lived up to his name with the best "neanderthal man dancing" I have ever seen

  17. I've been to a party at Eddie's house in Warrington (it was his son's 21st & my other half was at uni with him), where I also met Stevo. Stevo appeared to have a bit of an eye for the ladies shall we say.
