  1. Wishing all of you (yes, even <insert name here>) the best possible* festive season! *subject to terms & conditions.

  2. Best wishes to both of you from the snowy Okanagan. Just got back from taking the dog for a walk (almost skate as there’s minimal road salting done in my part of West Kelowna) and jumped in the hot tub. It’s -10 outside and the hot tub was incredible! Can’t believe that I managed all these years without one!

  7. Leftovers are part of the Christmas tradition, especially turkey sandwiches. One present I just unwrapped is this - just had a sniff and it isn't as bad as the name implies.

  8. Still got another hour. I eat late, drink early. Spell corrected her name for you.

  9. Just finished watching that too. Always a pleasure to see it. Now for the Alastair Sim version of A Christmas Carol on Talking Pictures TV.

  10. We gave our daughter an unusual name, it is Hawaiian for Heavenly Flower, however that means we can't wander down to Clintons when we need a special present, with her name on it. Even her second name can be difficult to find. Which we chose because our surname is a Viking word, but there is no other Leilani Freya that we know of However, this year I went on to Not on the High Street, and bought her a hand made LED light with her name, that cost me a bucket of cash, but it was worth it, she is delighted. So thank you to the company in Leeds, for getting it to her before Christmas, even though delivery time was estimated as 28th December, and thank you to NOTHS.

  14. Merry Christmas from Western Canada, it was -7 outside in Kelowna at 1pm today and we have a foot of snow. Very festive! Hope 2021 is much better than 2020 for everyone on the board. Whoever you support you deserve credit for being a supporter of the game. My hopes for next year are 1. that there will actually be a proper season at all levels 2. that when fans are allowed back, they come back in numbers 3. that Newcastle Thunder solidify a mid table spot in the Championship 4. that we get a new name on the GF trophy - I have a soft spot for Huddersfield but wouldn’t be upset if it really was Warringtons year!

  20. It’s Groundhog Day! Seriously though Wakey have an awesome core of fans who deserve better than the current slum, so I hope this time everything goes through and the bureaucrats and their cronies are not able to interfere.

  21. My favourite Clouseau movie. The high points are less outrageous than some of the other films, but there are far fewer weak/padded sections than the others. Plus it has Elke Sommer in it.

  24. Genuinely talented child stars who can really act are few and far between, and should be appreciated. The little girl in Pan's Labyrinth is another. Too often they just look vaguely endearing and act vaguely annoying.
