  1. Just in time then, i mentioned this ages ago to the person who prints all the other merchandise. He did say then that there was something in the pipeline. Saves me getting hundred off market again and selling em all week before final and in ground on match day. i made a killing at Headingley. I think a good idea would be to offer a deal for anyone who buys a ticket and books a place on the coach.
  2. my point is that Sheff are the only team that beat us on our own turf in their own way. (Toulouse, we beat our selves). If we played every team in our league again, i reckon we would beat them all apart from maybe Sheff. i would like us to put this baby to bed in style and let them know our previous meet was a one off.
  3. we aint got owt else to prove to Fax. Rather play Sheff a team we are yet to prove a point. With the way we played Sheff at home it would be better to smash em in final just to get the msg across.
  4. my mate gary said he was defo coming so i reckon 3117
  5. That drop out was nothing less than perfect. You cant expect players to catch balls like that, you should just hope they do. In my opinion he played well and wasnt anything near as tired as most the Barrow players.
  6. I cant see what all the fuss is about. Why are people so selfish they dont want to share the clubs success with anyone else in the community. I for one think this is great. I wasn't going to the F-Factor but now I am for 3 reasons, 1. To see the Champs 2. Putting money into the club 3. Will be nice to see Fev sign up a few more fans. Milk it all you can thats what i say. Im just happy I celebrated after the Batley game, ill be celebrating after F-Factor, after Barrow game and fingers crossed the GF and the trophy home bringing. If you want to be selfish then so be it but dont try making the club feel guilty because of it. The real celebration will begin on 22nd of august, as that is when the season is over and there are no more games for any club to play. This is when we have won the league. just my opinion.
  7. Or even better. http://www.britishpathe.com/record.php?id=44698
  8. I dont have any idea if this as been on the forum before, but i came across it on youtube and thought it was good. I think there maybe more.
  9. Think i got a bit carried away. lol basicaly we dont need to do too much as a club. fans are just as good use of promotion as players or mascots are on a day like gala day.
  10. I can remember not too many years ago when i was in the Blue & White club. I used to look forward to gala day just to show off my support for the Rovers. Stuff the races, rugby and football matches I was taking part in. What got me excited was getting on the Rovers float and parading through Fev, proud of where i was from and what i was part of within the Rovers. Floats got all the kids talking weeks before gala day. Not eveyone got to take part on the day, so me on that float got kids i knew talking about the rovers and that kicked off a small buzz. But big enough to boost the numbers of kids wanting to play rugby and go watch Fev. We have a great side at the minute and we need to cash in on that within the community now and create that Buzz within the town again. I want to see police cones down the lane again just because its match day, blue & white eveywhere as i walk to the game ready to give my vocals a good exercise and that natural roar from the fans all around the ground. Kids are the future for the rovers and they need to be better connected to the lions Featherstone need to take better advantage of local talent, promote it and keep hold of it. This will only make us a stronger team and a closer community.
  11. just realised i missed fev off the standings. may need to have another look at that, i would forget my head if it wasn't screwd on.
  12. I was just looking at standings and all the fixtures remaining. it made me think about what the table could be at the end of the season. This is my view of the final standings: 1. Some team without Vuvazela support (hopefully) 2. Barrow 3. Halifax 4. leigh 5. Widnes 6. Sheffield 7. Batley 8. Toulouse 9. Dewsbury 10. Keighley 11. Whitehaven If say we got to the grand final i reckon we will be up against either halifax or widnes but its rugby league and anything can happen cant it? What are your views on the final table and grand finalists?
  13. I concur. I dont see why we always have to wait for the away shirt, it would be nice to get it before the first away fixture at least.
