    From outside the box🤔

You've punched far above your weight for many years, win 20 games last season, won just about the same number this year, just roll with it and except that dips in a season do come along, just roll with them when they happen, you don't have a devine right to win every game, Sheffield are a good team and driven by Aston you know your going to be in a hard game, 6 defeats on the bounce... But you'll come back, best to get bad performances out of the way now, you will not be top 6 forever, rugby league is a big wheel, sometimes your top (like you have been for awhile now) and sometimes your down in the "also rans"

Embrace it... It happens to the biggest of teams.. Widnes currently struggling and look at their history🤔

Just think your over reacting.. Your in a rut and losing becomes an habit, you'll be there come the end of the season.. 🤔

Always good to get an outside perspective Coolie.

  2. Is it perhaps time for Linners to concentrate on one job and Moxon to take the reins and try and build for next season?

Incidently, I feel very sorry for KN given that the bold initiative to charge just a tenner for games appeared to be paying off with crowds begining to increase. We will be back down to our core support again if this slump isn't sorted sharpish.

  3. The BN (that's one for JPL) assures me that we are away at Sheffield tomorrow night and adds ominously that Sheffield Eagles have only been beaten at home twice this season.  Clearly not worth my visiting Sheffield tomorrow then.  Perhaps I'll go and get some fresh air at MP instead.

As the bulls game gone was supposed to be my return to spectatorship at the mount after a short hiatus. I was gutted to be part of a week long search for my former brother in law.

Martin dark haired 40, slim build is believed to be missing from Liversedge with a vulnerable distorted thinking.

A bradford northern fan and father to two young children has left family and friends frantic with worry. Far too many red flags and behaviours that constitute an unwell man.

Police have upped their c.i.d involvement and a social media sites are sharing daily.

Please be vigilant. Police log 1808 2ndaug

Really sorry to hear this, it must be so worrying.  I wish you the best of luck with it.  I just wondered if you are aware of the "Next Door" website which quite a few people seem to use for local news.  It might be worth putting a photograph on there if you haven't already done so.

I agree with El Cattivo on all points, have to go with a Fax win, too much pace, that showed us up on Sunday and Grix will hammer the video into his players. As regards Hooley; if he's dr'd then officially he can play but would he trade a Wembley appearance against an injury killing his Leeds season just as it looks as though it might start?

I hope I'm wrong entirely....I also suspect that the Hooley question will have been settled yesterday between Linners and Rohan Smith.

I'm sorry but I cannot remember the source but I have read that Rohan Smith did say that in working out his options against Leigh and ongoing he would bear in mind Hooley and the Wembley trip.  No promises were given but it gave the impression that he might be willing to let Luke play at Wembley.

There will be no problem with York's pitch - a fast draining hybrid pitch, which looked like a carpet after the Summer Bash weekend - it is not Mount Pleasant.

Don't take offence lads, he just means that it lacks character!  Wouldn't it be boring if all grounds had enclosed stadiums with flat "hybrid" pitches.  Still, it does look a nice stadium and no doubt a credit to the city.

Should be an easy win for your lot on current form, by 12 I would say.

York are in very good form. I think that it will be a very close game on what is forecast to be a wet afternoon.  This Bulldogs side is good at winning close games though, so here's hoping.

  8. On the plus side the forum has members who show enthusiasm and make interesting points in analysing recent games and other members who go out of their way to keep us informed.  Although I can be a glass half empty guy myself I do get fed with what sometimes seems like constant carping about the club from certain quarters.   We need more PM please to raise a smile.

Tbh it's forwards we desperately need. I cannot understand why we haven't brought anyone in.

It's conjecture of course Colin, but if Hooley is available then a switch to wing for McGowan and a winger moving inside to centre might free up Senior to support the pack.

  10. It will disrupt our usual gameplan with White not free to to move to "hooker" during the course of the game and Leak out of course.  It will be interesting to see how Lingard plays it.
