  1. So did I. Though a lot of the financial gubbins in the RFL Operational Rules is hidden from public gaze.
  2. No thanks. First, it wouldn't be a bigger pay day. Second, a trip to a Superleague ground is a highlight for both players and fans.
  3. What happens in a generation's time, when players no longer have a grandparent born in Samoa/Tonga/Wherever ? Or two generations time ?
  4. Makes sense as international qualification goes back to grandparents.
  5. Say what you like, there's definitely a preponderance of predominantly black kits around. Presumably the replicas sell well.
  6. Dunno what you're laughing at, Harry. https://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Fijian/Alphabet_and_pronunciation#:~:text=Occasionally%2C the official Fijian alphabet, the English speakers to learn. Where's the head-shaking emoji when you need it?
  7. Hoping to pay off your huge Championship debts with Superleague money is flawed from the start. You'll need your Superleague money to pay your Superleague players.
  8. There's a new cricket ground as well. In addition to the main stadium, there's a 3G 100m x 64m soccer pitch, two junior soccer pitches, 55m x 37m, 50m radius cricket field, parking for 458 cars and 7 coaches, plus assorted buildings.
  9. First winners of the "new" FA Cup, designed by Fattorini's. Antonio Fattorini was Chairman of Bradford City, formerly known as Manningham, who were the first winners of the Northern Union Championship, winning a trophy designed by Fattorini's. Spooky.
  10. There's not much detail in accounts these days.
  11. Makes sense. Better quality than the typical official RFL disciplinary video, I would imagine.
  12. A seven year coaching contract would be considered short term at Sheffield. We've only had seven head coaches.
  13. Looks like there's room for expansion too, should either of the clubs need it at some point in the future.
  14. To be fair, Rovers made £35,064 in 2019 (what happened there?) and £101,132 in the Covid Bonanza Year of 2020.
  15. Clubs shouldn't need help to pay last year's debts from this year's money. Companies House says you lost £80461 in 2017/18.
