Happy with new rules. Seemed to open the game up, with lots less messing at the rucks and allowing more broken up and unpredictable open play. Well applied by Liam.

Rugby Super League 2024 ! New (old) approach? -
Well I’m excited! Feels like a more positive build up that we could’ve hoped for after the last few years. Now it’s the fans turn to get involved. Thread for positive vibes only

Agree with the cherry but GREENmount in pink?

Exactly this. Was thinking of writing similar before I saw your comment. Some folk are just broken in respect of the bits that make them repeat offend. In the work I do, I often have clients saying “why me”. It’s usually because they’re making the wrong decisions. The old adage “write your own luck” is about making the right ones. The last think he needs at this point is a continual kicking whilst he’s down again, that being said something needs to be done as regards a suitable plan to show that his actions are nothing to look up to!

SRD will be in a much better position to build, obtain investment and generate income to do just that from now forward. Seems like the local taxpayers will be mucb happier their local authority being in a better position to generate the area and make money, than handing it over to the private sector to do so themselves Just wonder what Sale Sharks owners make of this and whether they’ll hang around to find out. -
Nice but reckon missed opportunity to have it double badged with old logo. It’ll sell a few!

Superleague new video effort. I think the audio has been recorded at the bottom of a fish tank, or I may need my ears syringed? -

If any team has a SL dual reg, they’re likely to be played anyway, otherwise what’s the point, and it may well be a condition of the dual reg that the SL side insist on their player getting game time. I saw reference a couple of days ago about a championship side having up to 10 amatuer players in the books. That’s 10 players potentially being told to keep theor boots warm for the weekend and missing out on a game with their community club. Rugby League in the UK has a very limited player pool. Until that is increases substantially, they all need to get a game when and where they can.

It has been the hope for years to do something like this. Much more like the Australian system to make sure a player gets a run out at whatever “grade”. As mentioned above it keeps players involved and will hopefully mean some players keep likes with their community clubs even if they sign pro forms. A lot of course do and then don’t make it, but lose the link to their orginating club and then lost to the game.
