  1. Fev kid trashed it Martin saying "###### and waste of money" Course you should speak if you dont agree otherwise theres no point having a fans forum, i respect both you and Stephs views just dont agree this time, but that doesnt mean im right
  2. Would love to know where people think the club get the money from to sign the players that we have, because it isnt from the crowds we generate, im pretty sure if 4,000 fans came to the Barrow game to watch the shield presentation then it wouldnt be presented at the F Factor the day before, like wise if the F Factor had been sold out the day before then the shield wouldnt have to be presented to try and sell it out. The club lost at least 50k with the postponed friendlies and what with the rail cup postponments and the Widnes game clashing with the world cup game the club has lost thousands this year, i admire the way they are trying to claw it back. After all it will be presented at the Barrow game so are we really that bothered about who sees it 1st, or would we rather be the 1st to see the shield presented but maybe lose a player. I know which i choose
  3. I know what your saying but had there been no play off and and no promotion the day we had at Batley even though a great day it was would of been it. Now with the play offs we have the potential to get to a final and take a potential 5,000 fans and hopefully keep a few for next season and keep the club on a roll
  4. I can fully understand why the club are doing this, the F factor is a way of the club generating money and they need to sell tickets, the announcement that the Shield will be presented may just sell a few more. I dont think it will do the club any good at all if people rubbish the F Factor in public. Its events like these that allow us to sign the players that we do and if these events arnt well attended then players will have to go and that is from a good source. I cant make the F Factor and attend nearly all Rovers games but if i miss the shield presented but the F Factor is well attended then il settle for that, i dont want to go back to seeing the performances of a few years ago, no way.
  5. Your right Frank, but all we as fans can do is make sure we turn up in good numbers, im even bringing the wife
  6. Who said i meant you? But now your on i reckon youd do well "darnt lane" at the Jungle, i reckon you would fit in reyt well, what with the hair, belly and the attitude, they would love ya
  7. Shut up you great big soppy git, and no were not a family, theres no way im related to a great big, fat ginger bloke no way
  8. I always enjoy watching Rovers, but yes it was agreat day and hopefully a few more to follow before the season is out. Be nice if we could get a huge crowd for the semi and put some much needed cash the clubs way
  9. For winning the league you used to get promoted, now all we get is praise, for me he can shove his praise where the sun dont shine
  10. Looks like were on Sky in the semi 9th Sept, the opposition is irrelevant, lets get the ground full, bring a friend. How good would it look on sky if we all wore our flat caps, lets get the place rocking just like it used to.
  11. Sure its Thursday 9th Sept and we need to big this game up from now regardless of the opposition. Lets get a massive crowd in
  12. I was sat with my delightful child in that new stand on the pitch side in the 2nd half, it looked awsome looking at all the fans behind the goal, best iv seen for a few years.
  13. It should deserve a tick Terry, but we could have a thousand ticks and they wont let us in, i came to terms with this a few years since and just enjoy watching Rovers, its not a sport anymore its a franchise. If thats the way the rulers think is the way for us to beat the Aussies then its there call. Just a point to add the franchise system was supposed to help us beat the Aussies, well in 95 just before Fev were kicked out of the top flight we played a challenge cup semi with Leeds at Elland Road, there was 19k there and believe me plenty of Rovers, we had also just lost the ashes in fact the last home series before that we were 2 mins from winning them. 15 years later 2 of the top 4 teams play a semi in front of 15k and we are light years from beating the Aussies. Has it worked and was it worth it, like hellll it was
  14. Who gives a flying shiiite what Carney thinks, the Irish republican who refused to sing god save the queen but took her silver. The mans a hypocrite
  15. You mean iv been telling you toulouse were a shoe in, but your right about the cart wheel and the clothes if our 2 neighbours are coming down. One thing puzzling me is when did this 10k stadium capacity come into it, i thought it was 12k. Have the RFL just changed it?
  16. What rubbish, featherstone are way more famous, them lot cant even talk reyt
  17. What made me smile was the statement that they have signed a deal with Weystone securing the land. Are they telling me they hadnt already secured the land?
  18. The threads title in great big un-missable letters was Wakefields announcement, so what the fek did you expect us to be discussing, just skip it and go to the appropriate thread its easy
  19. Not only the junior game, Selby Warriors open age team will play Hull side Recketts with a 11.30 ko
  20. Well they do say "in Featherstone men are men and so are women"
  21. You should keep quiet about that, i reckon we let you off lightly, talking to you son about it Sun he said he will closely monitor the situation and if it happens again your going in Meadow Lodge
  22. The thing is Rovers have stated from the outset they are developing the club and stadium to do the best for the club long term regardless of super league, so there is no point in making statements if there is no new news. Im pretty sure the latest is still the same as it was last month that we are waiting for the council to give the green light and the last i heard was they have been very supportive of the developments and there was no reason to turn them down. If we started making nothing statements weekly like Cas and Wakey we would start to look as daft as them. Wait for the next big announcement from Richard Wright " the appointed architect has now picked the pencil he will draw the plans with" Then the week after it will be were now really moving " we have appointed a company to oversee the best make of ruler to use" We dont want to go down that road and we have no need as we wont be in super league in 2012 anyhow
