Tee and Barrow totally shafted by Saints

We need to turn up in the 2nd half this week which we haven't against Haven (in the league game), Widnes, Oldham in the CC and last week against Dewsbury

Defensive effort won us the game today. Max Clarke was brilliant today, ran hard and strong. All the props ran and tackled hard. Great to see Ellis back.

O'Keefe appealed. Found not guilty. Don't know what broadbent got, any ideas?
There was no mention of Broady in the disciplinery findings list??

So what is the incentive for playing this competition?
None. Mickey mouse cup

Very poor in the 2nd half and Oldham took advantage and deserved the win but the referee letting them lie on all the time especially in the 1st half shouldve been penalised more

I’d agree with RSN regarding the squad being extremely strong this year, fair play to everyone involved in putting this group together, can only see us winning the derby games comfortably and finishing much higher in the league this season
Haven have assembled a really decent squad as well so no easy derby pickings this year (as it wasn't last either). Donny and others have also strengthened really well so its going to be another tough season but, on paper, we have recruited really well.
One area we look a bit off after the friendlies is our defensive line speed as both Cru and Hunslet made big yards when attacking us (in my opinion).

Well tell me his better replacement ? A maverick yes, mad at times but could he unlock a defence from nothing ??? And who is out there to replace him. ? How many tries did he create when he underperformed
Just my take on it bud ... too expensive for us as we have to cut our cloth accordingly and also with it being an unknown IMG restructure year in 25

We had one in Sammutt !!! Could only be financed that stopped us re signing him
He did underperformed at times last season as well and he would've wanted a fair wedge to stay

Great effort today ...our bench consisted of no forwards at all.. so very proud of the effort from 1 to 17 and we could have won the game with a little more luck. Yorks middles won them the game in the last 10 mins of the 1st half and 1st 10 mins of the second when our starting middles were rested and replaced with a utility back and a centre

Toulouse will send a depleted side to Haven as they are 2nd whatever so I think Haven could win

I suspect that most of us think that the job is done, BUT it is still mathematically possible to come a cropper.
I know that Cresta will be pushing that point home but will the players be a tad complacent?.
I hope not.
Well Ron, I think they were

No idea why people slagging Jackson off. He didn't even play today and has done nothing wrong when he has!!! Very strange
Rather have Jackson in at stand off than Sammut who has been very poor at best this season (hasn't looked interested considering the megabucks he's on).

Looks like Barrow are down to bare bones for today's game at Toulouse, at least if their published line-up is accurate in positional terms. Having initially named an 18-man squad, their starting line-up lists wing Shane Toal at centre, Jarrod Sammut at hooker, Greg Worthington at prop, wing/centre Ryan Shaw at back row and hooker Josh Wood at 13 (though presumably Sammut will play as a loose-forward/third half and Wood in his normal position).
Toulouse have their own injury concerns but it will be interesting to see if Barrow can put up a fight.
Bare bones indeed and the lineup is correct

You have got to be joking he had a nightmare, you are the dirtiest team we’ve faced all season. Embarrassing
Thats the sort of reply I expect from a Haven fan after a narrow defeat in a close game...embarrassing for who exactly???
