  1. That sums it up for me too, the incident and all the goading knocked the edge of a good day win, loose, or draw. I also think the break must have had an effect on the interchanges that the clubs made and I suspect Halifax were probably about to make some changes, with us getting on top. After the fire and the massive rest I guess they decided to stay with what they had and save 2 or 3 interchanges for the secong half meaning they were able to use their luxury players to full effect in the second half.
  2. Thanks for that, its great that other teams supporters are willing us on.
  3. I wonder if this means we have sold our allocation for the south stand?
  4. "When Ben black is not playing rugby, he spends most of is time down at Harvey's Department Store"
  5. It would be good if the club could update us on how we are doing with tickets, Halifax seem to be getting daily updates on their website, the latest says they have sold all their seating tickets. Official figures pretty please
  6. To Frank Watene Fat Shirley Temple, your just a fat Shirley Temple. To Tamgahrt Who let the Frog(s) out, whoo whoo, whoo whoo
  7. And breath. Should be re named cant get a word in edgeways TV
  8. I have noticed that Halifax are charging
  9. Lets let the all at the club know that we are behind them. Good luck to everybody, I know you can do it, you have all shown you are a CHAMPION team throughout the year now go get the official title. Go rover Go
  10. I was thinking the same today, what next, cages around the pitch, the odd chair thrown on the pitch to use? They really have no idea. They think that gimmicks attract people, when all we really want is a fair competitions where the undoubted best team takes the spoils and has the chance to progress. What gets me is that the RFL has a bee in its bonnet about reaching a wider audience and being able to progress as a sport through been given a fair crack in the national media. The paradox being it treats half of its teams just the opposite giving them virtually no chance to progress. aaaarrrgggghhhhh
  11. Nail on the head Phil, I have bought my season ticket and I work evenings, but as you say when I do go I will be watching a quality team, that I know I have done my bit towards.
  12. Cheers mate, they are the dogs danglers, looks like the old visa will be another 12 quid lighter today
  13. Anybody got a picture of the T shirt? or a description. Bought my tickets online so not been to the club, and no pictures of the t-shirts online, I realise that they wont be sold on line as wont have time to send orders out but would be nice to see what they look like before travelling to the club. Cheers
  14. Well my brick is cemented in, 4 final tickets and 1 season ticket purchased. This will be my first season ticket for some years as I work evenings so thursday night games are out (unless I throw a sicky like for semi) . So that is at least one new season ticket holder this season. Now lets see how many more we can prusuade.
  15. We could start by targeting those at the final, handing season ticket application forms out on the coaches, a quick 2 min speech by Andy Prout on each coach before it leaves, letting people know what their support means to the club, staff, fans and town. Tell them that super league rugby would be a lot more likely with an extra 1000 fans each week.
  16. Well done to the club for getting this rolled out before the grandfinal. Can I suggest that application forms are handed out on the coaches to warrington, as Im sure there will be a good mixture of Current season ticket holders and no regulars who whilst in a the mood may decide to give the introduce a member scheme a go for a
  17. Add another 4 to that, 2 regulars, and 2 C&s fans who will be Rovers for the day
  18. Good point Phil lets make the most of our success, once the grand final is gone, and xmass draws closer, it will be a case of out of sight out of mind. Your idea is a great one, advertise to people booking final tickets and give them the option to start paying straight away. An outlet of some sort in Pontefract to collect ST money would be good too, as the club is off the beaten track to many, especially those who live in the shanty town of C*s like me
  19. Interest is at its best at moment, plus the sooner its announced the sooner people can start putting money down. people will be thinking about xmas spending soon and may not have money spare. Having said that I trust the bod to do whats right.
  20. So thats my own show, 20 Phil Clarke Suits, and as Much Grecian 2000 as Eddy can spare? Where do I sign Mr Murdoch.
  21. That is like saying VD is better than Ghoenera
  22. This might suite us as Halifax tend to like a quick tempo game and are not the most disciplined side. But must admit my gut reaction is to be sick
  23. Does anybody know when we will be starting the Season ticket advance initiative? Lets strike while the iron is hot
