    Fev have improved their squad.

TO is, IMO is weaker than last year.

Hypothetically, I think fev would beat TO now.  Other opinions are available.

Whether they would perform in SL wasn't the question being asked in the OP.

I also believe the most over-looked part of our team, is the fact we have a new coach.

I would say if McDermott was coach last season, the final would have been much different. Same if Ryan Carr was in charge.

True - although my recollection is that quite a lot of people watched both games - and there were not very many from Oldham. And of course, there is absolutely no reason why the League 1 final couldn't be played as a double header.

It was a fantastic occasion, and to be fair the finals at Warrington were also very good too.

It's a shame it stopped in that way, because it was becoming a real occasion. Now with promotion available, I think you'd see even more there.

Exactly. The National League Grand Final at Headingley between Castleford and Widnes got just short of 21K.

That might be true, but it also included the NL2 final between Featherstone and Oldham, then NL3 between Featherstone Lions and another team.

I think it would be fair to say that the Featherstone & Oldham game had a good 7 - 8k in.

You know that how? Even if Wakefield have made an error it doesn't immediately mean a fine and points deduction deduction for an out of season offence seems highly unlikely. It will depend on the reasons, even in this day and age honest mistakes are a consideration. It's highly unlikely

Trinity won't have deliberately deceived anyone, it was just a friendly so why would they, so as I say an honest mistake and a warning in this case is most likely.

Re-read it and you will see 🎣

Personally I think players should not be allowed to play on dual registration in the play offs. Imagine if Leeds players helped Featherstone gain promotion to Super League, how can that be justified?

Can we dual reg Leeds supporters?

Cos I'd like you to come join us next season. I'll even buy you a drink.

Another nonsense-on-a-stick idea from people who’s level of strategic thinking is limited to “how can I make those people from Featherstone and Halifax stop moaning at me on the golf course” 🙄

Not wrong, Featherstone add little value to the game - especially now they are dual regin' with Leeds.
