  1. Is that the one with a cover of 'Born to be wild' on it? Or did I imagine that?
  2. NapalmDeath- Breed To Breathe Absolutely loving this tonight, going back to me roots man.
  3. That's the one I had, don't know where it is nowadays! On Rough Trade and was their biggest selling single (at least at one point) yet never even got near the charts!
  4. Never mind all that gubbins. Check out Manowar - Blow Your Speakers (pref at 11) Try not fist banging to this one - impossible. LMAO
  5. No they weren't, it was....Nillson - Without You. What a singer this guy was.
  6. And Chicory Tip were No 1 with 'Son of My Father'. Rocking!!
  7. Dale Wintons 'pick of the pops' from 1972. Gilbert O'Sullivan -Alone Again, Naturally. good record.
  8. The Smiths - How Soon Is now? I'm not their biggest fan by a long way, but these lyrics are genius. "theres a club if you'd like to go, you could meet somebody who really loves you, so you go and you stand on your own, and you leave on your own, and you go home, and you cry and you wanna die"
  9. The Clash - White Man in Hammersmith Palais. Top, top record.
  10. Bradford's Noise Of The Valleys. A 4 cd compilation to go with the excellent book. Possibly helped by the fact that a lot of it is stuff I remember personally but it's a superb collection of stuff from Bradford music from 1966-1987. Current fave is The Negativz - Mental Case. An absolute belter that would have been a punk classic if it had been wider fame. But it's not one style on show, theres even a Smokie classic on it. Not to mention Seething Wells 'Tetley Bittermen'. And another often overlooked 'ranter' Little Brother, who was a gifted wordsmith. Sh!t, it was good in Bradford once!!!!!
  11. Discharge - Free Speech For The Dumb How can a song with one line say so much? This knocks today's pretenders into touch!
  12. Metal Church- 1st LP Not entirely sure why I love this LP, because in theory I shouldn't (straight metal, high pitched singer) but it's one of my fave LP's. (And it came out when we were going for extreme hardcore/thrash)
  13. The Casuals - Jesamine A great record. But then, there are so many brilliant records from the 60's.
  14. Free - Get Where I Belong nb you might have to click play in the top right corner.
  15. Dead Kennedys - Holiday In Cambodia There have been a few better singles released...but not many!!
  16. The problem with YouTube is that you tend to get on a roll.... Quo - Down The Dustpipe Great footage.
  17. Status Quo - Mystery Song Great Stuff. Coggy going for it as usual.
  18. Looking Glass -Brandy (You're a Fine Girl) I don't understand why this wasn't No1...it's a superb record. I always assumed it was a big hit but I don't think it even charted in the UK.
