Bradford's Noise Of The Valleys. A 4 cd compilation to go with the excellent book. Possibly helped by the fact that a lot of it is stuff I remember personally but it's a superb collection of stuff from Bradford music from 1966-1987. Current fave is The Negativz - Mental Case. An absolute belter that would have been a punk classic if it had been wider fame. But it's not one style on show, theres even a Smokie classic on it. Not to mention Seething Wells 'Tetley Bittermen'. And another often overlooked 'ranter' Little Brother, who was a gifted wordsmith. Sh!t, it was good in Bradford once!!!!!
