Saints’ turnover always frustrates me. They simply don’t bring in enough for a club of its size with a cracking facility available to it. Saints, along with plenty of other clubs, need to improve their income generation.

If that was an actual IMG metric, you know any Bradford thread would be a 1000 pages long by now populated by Game Caller’s bot Army; and Ralph Rimmer would have released a statement stating Huddersfield are planning on opening a 1000-page thread.

“Game’s gone…” The product is not perfect and could be improved. But clearly it’s still attracting people… so something must be alright with the game.

The joys of trying to follow on here and by the BBC… the latter hadn’t listed the Catalan penalty!

Saints are paying the price for poor management 4-5yrs ago. Yes, we were winning back to back to back to back league titles; but Rush and McManus failed to invest regularly to revitalise/refresh an aging squad. The likes of LMS, Roby, et al were allowed to play on for too long rather than being replaced by new blood over a broad time period. This has resulted in a significant churn at once, amplified by the replacements being poor. Tough road ahead for the club - we need fresh ideas.

If the likes of Huddersfield (and not the only one) are hitting A Grade status, the criteria is wrong.

It should have zero bearing on any short term decision.

This. Clubs should not be able to fiddle the system. If Huddersfield are playing in Dewsbury next year, they don’t need the standards expected.
