I find Southgate stubborn and inflexible. He continues to pick the likes of McGuire and Henderson for example. He won’t play TAA when he’s at RB. He persisted with the Yorkshire Pirlo despite him not playing at all at Man City. Not convinced by his tactics either… we are dull despite having some top quality talent.

England under Southgate are utterly dull…

Which club would you invest in?

I ignored the original post… policy and direction can always be challenged! Absolutely agree on the bit about a proper plan. An expansion endeavour needs to be backed holistically rather than in a stovepipe. It’s why our expansion efforts have historically failed. -

If I won a £100m on the Euromillions, I’d be investing a bit more than £10m. -

London would be my first choice. If Hughes wouldn’t sell, I’d aim to buy the Midlands Hurricanes. A proper presence (and clubs) in England’s two biggest cities is essential for the sport to thrive. -
Cracking winning punch that last one. Boom.

Bennison was poor last night. He has done well in recent times. But he also lacks pace. I’d be picking Ritson or blooding one of the other kids like Sambou if I was Wellens. Pleased with Dodd and delighted with Clarke and Whitley. But yep, jury is out on Mbye and I’ll wait to pass judgment on Blake until we see him on a dry track. He does bring much needed pace to the backline but Lafai stood him up badly for the winning try… awful defence.

So exciting and enjoyable to watch. Extremely good value and thoroughly deserved their win last night. I think we would have won if Percival hadn’t been sent off - but that was his own fault for a rash challenge you simply can’t make nowadays. Well done Salford and I hope their fans enjoy it - well deserved.

RFL/RLPA suing Toronto Wolfpack
GeordieSaint replied to gingerjon's topic in The General Rugby League Forum
I’d change the title to suing the former owners of the Toronto Wolfpack ie David Argyle - not the current amateur set up.
