I thought it was forward. Thought the next pass to Isa was even more forward. But I genuinely don’t care. It pain me to say it but I’d rather you lot win it than hear and see the smugness from the Aussies that English RL is rubbish. I think I said last night that I was looking forward to the moaning from our friends down under. Some haven’t disappointed. So well done Wigan and glad you lot had a great evening. But that’s it. Back to the rivalry. Looking forward to Good Friday. Should be a belter.

Thanks MS. Looking forward to seeing Sambou and Vaughan blooded this year then. Bennison is a good solid young player. Think he lacks the pace and size to be a really good player but he’s the type of player who every side and squad needs.

I worry about our backline depth. Hurrell is done (IMO) so the inevitable loss of Percival at some point really weakens us as we lose so much pace. Who are young centres and backs coming through? (So way out of the loop on the Academy scene). Pack looks immense. Clark has been superb so far. Whitley too. Wingfield back is like a new signing and Delaney is getting better and better. I suspect Stephens may play a few this season. Paasi to come back as well at some point?

Slowly lol… … in all fairness, I’ve been banging out a few 20 miles around here (Rutland/Stamford) which has been great. But it is basically an absolute bog on the trails. I am actually doing that route with a friend next Sunday from Hardraw but carrying onto Tan Hill. Looking forward to it. The friend however, is a racing snake so it’ll be tough lol. Got Dutton-Alston (or Hartside Pass) planned for early April and then doing a night recce in the Cheviots at the start of May (I’ll bivi at Hut 1 or 2). So lots to do!

Talked about how good Wingfield and Delaney were yesterday. But the other person who impressed was Daryl Clark. Good distribution, good defence and lots of running from dummy half - looked like the Clark of old (Cas days!).

Pretty much every sporting league in the world does. Look at the Premier League - richest (football) league in the world and the likes of Sheff Utd and Burnley are awful.

I’d go for that. Catalan need to improve their attack to be competitive. Saints and Wigan would do well… very well.
