I was being sarcastic of course; the idea that we would decide this month how many teams will be in next year is beyond nuts. As is the fact we went to 14 on a vibes vote last year.

Why on earth would something like the number of teams need to be decided before, say, agreeing deals for the TV coverage or how the current Super League / Championship needs to work? You seem very new to all of this.

SL+ is objectively risky and it's hard to see it attracting the subscriber numbers to match the Premier Sports cash. But as a consumer and an RL fan, I feel like I'd be more comfortable forking out the cash for SL+ knowing it was going into the game, rather than being shared with second tier French union and college hurling.

I saw him on TV a few years back in a performance he was doing in Sydney. He got quite violent then too but the good guys won out in the end.

I didn't expect an easy game today and Huddersfield were tough opposition. Agree with the praise for Williams, he was on a different level to everybody else today as he was on Tuesday night. Nothing really mattered today except the win. Over 10k in versus Huddersfield is a decent crowd and the club did a good job of making it a good event, with the party on the pitch after the game and Westwood and Briers getting presented with their pendants for 300+ appearances.

Agree with almost every bit of that. The only bit I might pull up is whether the absence of TPJ made any difference: I think TO would have made great sport of strolling around that lardbucket time and again.
