I'm surprised we didn't find out by Australia kicking one. I certainly found out about the bonus Captain's Challenges for the first time yesterday.

Someone who watches the NRL more regularly will need to keep me honest, but they havent got rid of the drop goal down there have they?

Luai headbutted the NZ player.
-
You sure? I think Atkins would have called 'held' yesterday before the ball even started going down.

If a no-name big forward gets someone in a headlock and then slams them into the ground using their neck as a lever, pretty sure you'd see more action. Six-again rule is dreadful. You'd be mad not to just keep committing 'ruck infringements' until the sting goes out of the attack.

England v Australia 2025 - been to the UK!

I've got a strategic review that should put your mind at rest. -
All great players, but I don't remember any of them being more dominant against the Australians than McMeeken was for most of today's game. They certainly all finished with losing records against the Kangaroos. We didnt lose the game today in the forwards, even if we desperately need some attacking quality to come through in the second row.

Our poor halfbacks were racking their brains trying to remember if there was anything from the presentation on the Dardanelles Campaign that could help them break down the Aussie defence.

Yep and that's totally wrong. There's no quick fix of course. The profits from this series should be going straight into the long-term, non-sexy things that strengthen our player base for the future. Coaching courses, community club facilities, development programmes.

Which are those 4? Tonga are W1 L8 from their last nine games.

Someone will come up with a deranged counterfactual in which Manchester Rangers would have been averaging 25k by now if they had been let into League One that time.

I havent yet opined on my favourite pitch markings so you've got that to look forward to.

Yes he said it had been called onside by the onfield ref so he wasnt going to rule on it.
-
That's true although in the first half Tom Grant said that the on-field ref's word was final on offside calls so I don't understand why it even went to the screen.

Brimson n/a Burgess 5 - Dreadful start and presented no attacking threat. Gets a point for the pick up from that drop out. Newman 6.5 - Got stuck in a bit, a few offloads. Didnt find any space though and that right hand side was not great defensively Farnworth 6 - I appreciate he is well marked, but he hasn't exactly harmed Australia at any point in the series. Deserves better service. Johnstone 6.5 - Ran the ball with a bit more conviction today, solid performance. Williams 6. Took his try well, a couple of decent grubbers, but too often defaulted to the high kick which Australia dealt with far more easily. Smith 5. Awful passing, just shifted it on to the next guy with no conviction and put several players in trouble. One or two decent attacking kicks but no cutting edge. McMeeken 9. Excellent, a menace. Litten 8. Superb play for the try, first class. Faded out of the game like last week, isnt an 80 minute hooker. Lees 7. Quieter than last week but did have a dig. Pearce Paul 6.5. A handful at times but badly exposed by Walsh for that last try. Watkins 7. Good value again. Knowles 7. Hard work, but didn't rise beyond his limits as an attacking threat and a crucial knock on in first half. Lewis 6. No issue with the fact he isn't a full back. But chucking the ball into touch, that daft last-tackle penalty, and that hopeless attempt for the Young try were not position-related, they were just poor rugby. Did look a threat towards the end. Oledzski 6 - Not really sure, had no memorable impact. Walmsley 7.5 - Great impact off the bench, helped get us back into the game Smithies 7 - Good again.
